11:59 pm Eastern Time (ET) on 11/16/02. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is
offered only in the United States and District of Columbia (“U.S.”) and is open
only Team Ford Racing (www.fordracing.com) members who are legal residents of
the U.S., licensed drivers, and 18 years of age or older, except for employees
(and the immediate families and members of the same household of such
employees) of Ford Motor Company, Procter & Gamble, participating sweepstakes and
promotional partners, their respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries,
dealers, advertising and promotion agencies.
Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the
sweepstakes , complete the online sweepstakes entry form at www.fordracing.com/tide
and submit as directed during prior to 11:59 pm ET on 11/16/02. Limit one
registration per person or email address. Internet entries will be deemed made
by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of
entry. The authorized account holder is
the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access
provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible
for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email
address. PRIZES / APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): One (1) Grand Prize - 2003 Ford Taurus SES Sport (ARV $25,000) plus a Ford NASCAR driving experience for two at a NASCAR Winston Cup track (ARV $5,000). Trip prize consists of round-trip, coach air travel from the major commercial airport nearest winners’ residence, two nights accommodations, race school admission and local ground transportation (Total Grand Prize ARV $30,000); One (1) First Prize - Kenmore White Super Capacity Plus Washer (ARV $600) and Kenmore White King Size Capacity Heavy Duty Dryer (ARV $530) plus 12 40-use boxes of Tide (ARV $55) and 12 40-oz. bottles of Downy (ARV $50) (Total First Prize ARV $1235); One (1) Second Prize - Tide Racing Team Crew Helmet worn by one of the Tide pit crew members and autographed by the Tide #32 driver, crew chief, team owner, team engineer and the entire Tide pit crew plus Tide Racing Leather Jacket (ARV $850); Twenty-five (25) Third Prizes - Pair of Tide Racing Stadium Seats (ARV $45); One hundred (100) Fourth Prizes - 2002 Racing Championsâ 1:64th scale Die-Cast Car signed by Tide Winston Cup Driver (ARV $3). Grand Prize winner: a) must take delivery of vehicle through a sponsor-selected Ford dealership near winners residence within 60 days of notice of availability, b) must provide valid driver’s license and evidence of insurance at time of delivery or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate, and c) is solely responsible for registration, license, title and insurance fees, and any available options added to the vehicle at winner’s request. Prize winners are responsible for all taxes (federal, state, local and/or income) and any expenses not listed related to acceptance and use of prize. WINNER SELECTION: Prize winners will be selected on or about 12/2/02 from among all entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Exposure Marketing, Inc., an independent judging organization. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. If a winner is not of age of majority in state of residence (a “minor”), prize will be awarded in name of parent or legal guardian. Prizes are non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash; however sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value due to unavailability. If prize is refused or prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. Winners will be notified by mail and/or phone and may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within 14 days of notification date. Trip companion of Grand Prize winner (or if a minor his/her parent or legal guardian) must execute and return a Liability Release prior to issuance of travel documents. Failure to timely return executed forms will cause prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. If a prize or prize notification letter is returned or deemed undeliverable, an alternate winner may be selected. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its respective advertising and promotional agencies to use winner's name, photo and/or likeness and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional compensation unless prohibited by law and upon request, winner will provide written consent for such use. CONDITIONS: Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of Sponsor to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the sweepstakes, or for entries or mail that are late, lost, misdirected, damaged or postage-due. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel sweepstakes in its entirety, or only the online portion, if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In that event, Sponsor will select winner from all eligible entries received prior to exercising its rights to suspend or cancel the sweepstakes and will post notification of cancellation on www.fordracing.com. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By entering, participants (a) agree to these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which shall be final in all respects; (b) release Ford Motor Company, Tide Racing, their respective divisions, dealers, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies and Exposure Marketing, Inc., their respective directors, officers and employees from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; and (d) acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize including, but not limited to, its quality. Noncompliance with the official rules will result in disqualification.
