Through special Team Ford Racing events and pre-race hospitality events, TFR members are given opportunities that most fans don’t encounter.

Since its establishment, TFR has taken members on Hot Laps with NASCAR Nextel Cup pilot Elliott Sadler and then-NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jon Wood. Members have also taken part in Hot Laps prior to Bridgestone Presents The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford races on exciting courses.

None other than John Force himself has given TFR members a guided tour of 12-time NHRA Funny Car champion’s compound during events. Members also received private autograph sessions with Force and his then-teammate Tony Pedregon, the 2003 Funny Car champion, during a Ford Fan Appreciation event.

Web-savvy TFR members have participated in on-line chats with Todd Parrott, Ricky Rudd and chief engineer John Valentine.

Aside from current Ford Racing stars, TFR members have had opportunities to meet Ford Racing legends, including: drag racing icon Bob Glidden, former NASCAR champion Ned Jarrett and multiple race series winner Parnelli Jones. During the Ford Racing Centennial Festival in Dearborn, Mich., members got to hear first-hand from Glidden and Lyn St. James the progressions auto racing has made and how these two are still involved in the sport.

TFR members even witnessed private Ford NASCAR test sessions at Talladega Superspeedway and Daytona International Speedway.

TFR, a national fan club for Ford Racing enthusiasts wholly supported and sponsored by Ford Motor Company, boasts tens of thousands of members.

TFR members have the opportunity to purchase pre-race hospitality packages through their membership. Packages include a race ticket, breakfast, lunch, a raffle for racing-related prizes and question-and-answer sessions with Ford Racing drivers and technical experts. Often the package includes a guided pit or track tour.

TFR pre-race hospitality events are fantastic Blue Oval parties where Ford Racing enthusiasts meet and discuss current racing issues, racing’s golden years, as well as the future of the sport before they gear up and head to the track to support their favorite Ford drivers from great seats.

Members also get the scoop regarding auto racing’s latest technological innovations and rules from Ford Racing experts. Ford Racing's NASCAR Nextel Cup Program Manager Linas Orentas made several appearances during 2003 to discuss everything from race car aerodynamics to on-track rule changes.
