MORE TFR EVENTS = MORE TFR FUN
1/5/2005
Dearborn, Mich. — While TFR members are no doubt excitedly making reservation calls to 1-877-TFR-CLUB for the upcoming TFR event at the Daytona 500, and finalizing travel plans for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway events, there is more TFR fun in store for 2005.
Michigan International Speedway will again be the first June stop on the TFR calendar. If you just want to see the June 19 race, TFR will hook you up for just $65 per ticket. However, if you already have your race ticket you can upgrade your weekend for $155 per person and enter the pre-race hospitality tent. Of course TFR will also put the entire ticket package together for you at $220.
TFR members on the west coast won’t want to miss the NASCAR party when it comes to their backyard for a little right turn action. June 26 marks the Infineon Raceway event where TFR members can see the race for $85 per person. For those who already have their favorite spot on hold and just want to start their race day in fine Ford fashion, each pre-race hospitality village ticket is $205. TFR will put you on the road to racing excitement with a complete ticket package for $290.
TFR returns to the Midwest for the ever-popular Brickyard 400 in August. We save you from having to hit-up your friends for a ticket, instead, they will want you to get extra tickets at $85 each. If you are among the reserved ticket holders and just want to add to your Indianapolis Motor Speedway experience, the $195 pre-race suite pass will bring you inside the morning action. The total package at $280 includes the air-conditioned view overlooking the garage area.
You won’t miss the final race of the regular season when you join TFR at Richmond International Raceway. There was plenty of excitement in 2004 so you will want to be sure you have plenty of the $80 race tickets for all your favorite race fans. To complete the family vacation or the guy’s weekend upgrade your race weekend with pre-race hospitality tickets at $155 each. The tour is worth the walk to see this track filled with history; and that is just part of the fun when you purchase the entire hospitality and race ticket package for $235.
Team Ford Racing members at Daytona International Speedway in February will view the Daytona 500 from SuperStretch seats in the Lund Tower.
The TFR tradition of kicking off the year in high gear with a two-day party at DIS continues in ‘05. It’s the first and the biggest race weekend of the NASCAR year and TFR is going all out. You won’t want to miss the Busch Series’ Hershey’s 300 action on Feb. 19, then the NEXTEL Cup Daytona 500 on Feb. 20. Race-only tickets are $190 each, hospitality-only tickets are $260 each and the combination package is $450. Place your order for TFR tickets today by calling 1-877-TFR-CLUB.
Following the Florida trip, TFR is scheduled to make its way to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for more NEXTEL Cup action on March 13. Roush Racing’s Matt Kenseth has claimed victory at this track the previous two years and he’ll look to three-peat. Race-only tickets are $103.95 each. Pre-race hospitality-only tickets are $180 each and the combination packages are $283.95 each.
TFR also brings back the immensely popular Bristol Motor Speedway suite package for the April 2-3 NASCAR doubleheader. Watch the door-to-door racing action of BMS from the best seat in the house, the Ford Racing suite. Each TFR suite package is $650 and includes the NEXTEL Cup and Busch races, plus pre-race parties.
These packages, which make great gifts all year, include race scanners for all NEXTEL Cup events. Additionally, TFR members will get pit tours at DIS, LVMS, MIS, Infineon, IMS and RIR while a track tour is on the schedule for BMS.
TFR pre-race hospitality events fuel member’s racing appetites with tasty food, giveaways, raffles, plus guest drivers visit for question and answer sessions.
Your exciting race day begins immediately when you arrive in the TFR hospitality area. Our friendly staff will greet you with race fan gear, including a race program. Then TFR opens your eyes and starts the day with the most important meal of the day—breakfast. Many TFR pre-race events include a pit tour to show you the insider’s view of team pre-race preparations as they prepare the day's set ups. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in these tours. Required proper pit tour attire includes closed-toe shoes. Shorts, skirts and sleeveless shirts are not permitted. Rules are subject to change per track and per day. Tell the TFR operator if transportation assistance is needed to the pit area.
As the hour gets closer to the call to start engines, stomachs start to growl, so TFR makes sure members have a hearty lunch. As an extra course to your meal, TFR also holds a raffle for great Ford Racing prizes, which might include Ford Racing jackets, clocks, hats, shirts and more great items from the Ford prize closet.
During TFR pre-race parties, members receive Inside Access to the world of Ford auto racing through driver and technical expert question and answer sessions. TFR brings you the opportunity to learn directly from the very people who make it happen what it's really like to compete in the highest levels of motorsports, the thrills of victory and the drama involved in auto racing.
Race scanners will also be provided for NEXTEL Cup races when a valid driver's license, or state I.D. is presented. This technology puts you in the car with your favorite drivers.
Last year's TFR events included a visit to Daytona International Speedway in February and then a visit from Dale Jarrett at Texas Motor Speedway in April. The fun went straight into May with the John Force Racing drivers visiting TFR’s pre-race party to sign autographs and talk with members at Route 66 Raceway. Next on TFR’s schedule, the 2003 defending Cup champion Matt Kenseth visited with members on Father’s Day at Michigan International Speedway right after his No. 17 team’s spotter Mike Calinoff took TFR on a pit tour. Then in June, Ricky Rudd chatted with members during a Q&A session at Infineon Raceway.
TFR had a busy month in August. Kurt Busch visited with TFR members at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway prior to the Brickyard 400 and Terry Cook, Jason Keller and Elliott Sadler came into the Ford Racing suite at Bristol Motor Speedway. Additionally, Stacy Compton and Greg Biffle visited the TFR Bristol hospitality tent. Busch again paid members a visit at Richmond International Raceway in September.
