Bristol, Tenn — Mark Martin still hasn’t set his plans for the 2007 racing season, which could include: Staying in the No. 6 Roush Racing Ford Fusion Nextel Cup car; driving a Roush Racing Ford F-150 full time in the Craftsman Truck Series; and/or driving a part-time Cup schedule with a team other than Roush Racing, his home since 1988.

“There’s certain scenarios that might bring that around,” Martin said Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway. “I’m interested in a limited (Nextel Cup) schedule, and obviously I’d love to do that with Jack, but that would kind of mess up the No. 6 car. I wish they didn’t have a limitation on teams.”

One tantalizing—and unconfirmed—rumor making the rounds in the garage was that Martin’s part-time Cup ride could be with Boris Said’s Ford team. But whatever he winds up doing, Martin said he’s happy. “I’m going to kind of wait and see what materializes here, see what looks exciting, I guess,” Martin said. “I’m not worried about it … I’ve got it the best in the world. I have nothing to worry about in 2007. Nothing.”
