FORCES TO DRIVE AT GIANTS STADIUM

CREST WHITESTRIPS CREATES RACEWAY

East Rutherford, N.J. — Drag racing icon John Force and his 24-year-old daughter Ashley, a leading candidate for Rookie-of-the-Year honors in NHRA Pro Racing, will be the focus of a Father’s Day weekend Celebration of Speed Friday at Giants Stadium.

Castrol’s father-and-daughter team will sign autographs, pose for photos and help introduce consumers to Crest Whitestrips Daily Multicare, a first of its kind five-minute-a-day tooth whitener.

In celebration of the latest breakthrough in tooth whitening technology, Crest Whitestrips Daily Multicare has transformed a Giants Stadium parking lot into a custom raceway on which visitors will be offered five-minute rides in luxury cars including a Bentley Flying Spur, Lamborghini and Aston Martin Vanquish.

The Castrol GTX Funny Cars driven by the Forces in the NHRA Powerade Drag Racing Series are symbols of speed and quickness, the qualities that make Crest Whitestrips Daily Multicare unique among tooth whiteners.

The elder Force is the most prolific winner in NHRA history with 122 tour victories and 14 series championships. He has been named to the Auto Racing All-America Team as chosen by the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association 14 times in the last 16 years.

The younger Force, who with her father, mother and sisters stars in Driving Force, a real life television series airing on A&E Network, moved up in classification this season to compete with—and against—her father in the Funny Car division. Both drive Castrol GTX Fords capable of zero-to-330 mile-an-hour acceleration in just 4.7 seconds.

Although she twice has reached the semifinals this year in her Castrol GTX Ford Mustang, equaling the best performance ever in the Funny Car category by a woman driver, the highlight of her season was a win against her dad in professional sport’s first ever father-versus-daughter match.

In addition to five-minute rides around the specially built road course, visitors also will be served hot dogs at no cost, sno-cones and popcorn and will be eligible to win hourly raffles for racing-themed prizes and kits of Crest Whitestrips Daily Multicare.

The event begins at 3 p.m. Friday in the Meadowlands Sports Complex at Lot 18, Gate B, and will continue until 7 p.m.
