Dover, Del. — Ricky Rudd was at Dover International Speedway on Friday, but he was not in the No. 88 Yates Racing Ford Fusion Car of Tomorrow, nor is he expected back in the car for at least two more races.

Rudd’s injured shoulder is responding well the therapy and he’s scheduled to have it evaluated again next week in Charlotte, N.C. There’s still pain, however, especially with quick, sudden movement, which can cause brief, but debilitating surges of pain. So it’s Kenny Wallace in the car for the foreseeable future.
