MUSTANG ACROSS AMERICA TOUR DAY 5
Birmingham, Ala. — Last night I had the chance to meet Ford Motor Company President and CEO Alan Mulally. It was really cool to get the chance to meet him and talk with him about what’s going on with Ford. I enjoy being a part of the Ford family and I want to keep doing what’s best for Ford so it was really cool to get the chance to sit and talk with him.
Today has been really great. It’s super crowded out here at Barber Motorsports Park. There’s a lot going on today, including the Mustang Challenge. You can’t see anything but people everywhere just coming out and checking out the Mustangs.
We’ve been doing more exhibitions today just showing people what drifting is about. A lot of people have been coming up to me and thanking me. Some people have seen it on TV but they’ve said they really didn’t know what it was all about until now after seeing it in person.
Overall this experience has been unbelievable. Starting with the Mustang Across America tour in Oklahoma and ending with the Mustang birthday celebration in Alabama. It’s been a great chance for me to get out and talk to some of the fans and see the smiles on all of their faces. It was great to meet all of the enthusiasts who really love this car.
I will never forget the experience. I’m so glad that I took the time out and opportunity to join this. I’ve learned a lot from the enthusiasts and the fans. I think from now on every five years I’ll come out and be part of the Mustang Birthday Celebration.
