Chris Cunningham joined Tasca Racing as co-crew chief in November 2007. Cunningham comes to the team with vast knowledge and more than 25 years experience in NHRA drag racing, 22 of them in the nitro ranks.

He comes to Tasca Racing after a 5-year stint at Worsham Racing where he served as co-crew chief on the Checker Schuck's Kragen blue team Funny Car.

Cunningham began his career with Gwynn Racing at the age of 16 and has since played a vital role with several teams, including Worsham Racing, Alan Johnson, Whit Bazemore, Jerry Toliver, Darrell Gwynn and many others. He has 50-plus Wally's for efforts.

Prior to a full-time position on the NHRA circuit, Cunningham had a 22-year career as an airline mechanic for US Airways flying into races on weekends.

He enjoys golf, bowling, riding Harley's with his wife.
