BIRMINGHAM, MI – While much of the country is dealing with a record-setting arctic blast of cold air this month, we thought now might be a good time to get your mind off the bone-chilling temperatures by switching your thoughts to mild, sunny days and hot Ford Mustangs on display at a local cruise-in. So, we looked through our photo archives of recent enthusiast events and came up with yet another photo gallery from our ever-busy correspondent, Ford-retiree-turned-roving-photographer Bill Cook. For this one, Bill had visited one of his favorite stomping grounds called “Pasteiner’s Auto Zone Hobbies,” which hosts a popular weekly Cars & Coffee venue during the warm-weather months.

Located right along famed Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, Michigan, this car-lover’s hot spot always features an eclectic group of cars every Saturday morning, and since Cook lives only a few miles away, he often begins many of his Saturdays there. This photo gallery comes from a Pasteiner’s cruise-in from back in mid-October of last year. Of course, Bill brought along his trusty camera and sent us lots of cool photos – but we decided to share just the Mustangs with you for this warm-up. Yes, he found an amazing Mustang GTD there, and even included shots of his own, beautiful blue Boss 302 which he drove to the event. So scroll through the gallery below and let these hot Mustangs warm your soul until you can get out sometime this spring to see Mustangs out in the wild for 2026.
