The 20th anniversary of the King of the Hammers kicked off, with the first of three competition efforts for Ford Racing.
Brad Lovell backed up his 2025 Desert Challenge victory with a first place finish in the 3.5L F-150 Raptor, the same Raptor that took the class win in the 2025 Baja 1000.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. finished second in the Ford Bronco Raptor.
King of the Hammers continues this week in Johnson Valley with Friday’s Every Man Challenge and Saturday’s Race of Kings.
