Smith was the beneficiary as the four trucks in front of him battled each other, allowing Smith to take the open inside lane and pass all of them just before the finish line.
GT Winter Series (February 15 – Valencia) – FORD VICTORY
The Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3’s collected four podiums in three races to conclude its limited GT Winter Series campaign, which included the first series Mustang GT3 victory.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (February 14 – Daytona)
Nick Sanchez, making his Ford debut, was eighth in Stage 1 for AM Racing, but got collected in a multi-car accident coming to the checkered flag and was forced to retire from the race. He finished 36th.
The next race for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series is Saturday, Feb. 21 (5 p.m., CW, PRN, SiriusXM).
SRO Intercontinental GT Challenge (February 14 – Bathurst 12 Hour)
The event debut of the Ford Mustang GT3 was abbreviated to the first 20 minutes of the race, after a kangaroo strike sidelined the car with irreparable damage.

Zane Smith won Stage 1 with Austin Cindric and Ryan Blaney finishing second and third, respectively.
Logano won his Duel qualifying race on Thursday with Penske teammate Ryan Blaney second, giving Ford Racing a 1-2 finish.

GT Winter Series (February 15 – Valencia) – FORD VICTORY
This weekend’s Valencia schedule was condensed to three races on Sunday due to inclement weather, and the two Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3’s collected one win and four podiums.
The victory marks the 15th globally by Mustang GT3 since its competitive debut in 2024.
Kiano Blum and Alain Valente both finished on the podium in the first race, second and third respectively; Niklas Kalus placed second, while Max Cuccarese was unable to complete the second sprint race after contact from pole position on the opening lap.
Blum was joined by Kalus and Valente by Cuccarese for the endurance race, placing first and fifth.
At least one Haupt Racing Team Mustang GT3 finished on the podium in five of the six total races between Portimão and Valencia.

The HRT Ford Racing Mustang GT3, driven by Christopher Mies, Dennis Olsen and Broc Feeney, started ninth on the starting grid.
Feeney posted a 2:01.688, ranking him third in the field and advancing the Mustang GT3 to the Pole Shootout.
