Repco Supercars Championship (July 31 - August 1 – Perth, Australia) – FORD CHAMPIONSHIP - FORD VICTORIES

  • Matthew Payne’s victory in Race 1 driving the Penrite Racing Mustang on Saturday, July 31 gave Ford Racing the Manufacturers’s Championship for 2026.   

  • Ford swept the Supercars Perth Super 440 weekend with two drivers sharing the three races. Matt Payne won race one, Broc Feeney won race two, and Payne returned to victory lane in race three.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (August 2 – Road America)

  • No. 65 Ford Racing Ford Mustang GT3 driven by Chris Mies and Frédéric Vervisch captured a second consecutive GTD Pro class top-five finishing in fourth.

  • Ben Barker and Dennis Olsen made a late race charge to earn a fifth place finish in the No. 64 Ford Racing Mustang GT3.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (August 1 – Road America)

  • The No. 46 Team TGM Ford Mustang GT4 driven by Paul Holton and Matt Plumb  finished second in a race that was punctuated by changing weather, pit strategy and a late race caution. 

  • The No. 13 McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) Ford Mustang GT4, shared by Ford Racing Driver Development Team members Nate Cicero and Robert Noaker, finished 11th after leading a race-high 15 laps.  

Formula Drift (July 30 - August 1 – Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park)

  • Round five of the 2026 Formula Drift season at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park was canceled due to inclement weather that caused flooding at the track. 

 

ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (July 31 - August 1 –Nürburgring)

  • No. 64 Haupt Racing Team Mustang GT3 raced by Vincent Kolb and Frank Stippler started second in the six-hour race at Nürburgring Nordschleif and finished fourth in class, ninth overall.  

  • The NLS will return for its next six-hour round, August 12 - 13 at the Nordschliefe.

  • Matthew Payne’s victory in Race 1 driving the Penrite Racing Mustang on Saturday, July 31 gave Ford Racing the Manufacturers’s Championship for 2026.   

  • Ford swept the Supercars Perth Super 440 weekend with two drivers sharing the three races. Matt Payne won race one, Broc Feeney won race two, and Payne returned to victory lane in race three.

  • Payne remains at the top of the points standings ahead of Feeney. Currently,  the top five in points is made up of Ford Mustangs, while ten of the top 20 carry the Blue Oval. 

  • Queensland Raceway will host rounds 26, 27 and 28 August 21-23. 

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (August 2 – Road America)

  • No. 65 Ford Racing Ford Mustang GT3 driven by Chris Mies and Frédéric Vervisch captured a second consecutive GTD Pro class top-five finishing in fourth.

  • Ben Barker and Dennis Olsen made a late race charge to earn a fifth place finish in the No. 64 Ford Racing Mustang GT3.

  • The No. 66 Gradient Racing entry finished 15th in GTD class while the No. 16 Myers Riley Motorsports Mustang retired early in the race after contact in 19th in the GTD class.

  • The GTD Pro and GTD classes of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will headline the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR (Virginia International Raceway), August 21 – 23.
