I am so excited that on November 11, the Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic will come to Daytona International Speedway. Tickets are on sale starting today.

Ford, in collaboration with NASCAR, Blue Star Families, IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) and HSR (Historic Sportscar Racing), is bringing together motorsports, music and a shared mission of military support for one unforgettable night, all in support of our service members, veterans and their families. It’s a first-of-its-kind military tribute race, with a headlining performance from the Zac Brown Band.

Before tickets were on sale to the public, in partnership with Ford Philanthropy, our military nonprofit partners announced that 1,000 complimentary tickets would be distributed to eligible military and veteran families within their organizations. Zac Brown shared a personal video message inviting these members to enter for a chance to join us.

And there’s truly no better place to stage this first-of-its-kind race than Daytona International Speedway. The track has been at the center of American racing since it opened in 1959 as the "World Center of Racing," hosting its first DAYTONA 500 that February in a race so close it was decided by a photo finish. Nearly seven decades later, it's still one of the biggest stages in the sport, kicking off the NASCARWe first announced the news at an event with Zac Brown in June aboard the USS Midway. I'd love for you to join us in November, and with the location locked in, here's what you need to know.
