Ford Racing expands its reach in the motorsport world in 2026 making its return to F1 after a 22-year absence. The Blue Oval® has partnered with Red Bull to compete with Red Bull Ford Powertrains for both Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls.
Despite having last competed in F1 in 2004, Ford holds the distinction of having the third most victories as an engine manufacturer in the series long history.
Re-entering the sport at a time where F1 deepens its focus on sustainable racing and hybrid technologies, Ford provides technical expertise in key areas, including battery and electric motor technology and power unit control software and analytics as well as supporting hardware components for the internal combustion engine.
Since its entry into the sport in 2005, Oracle Red Bull Racing has earned six World Constructors’ Championship titles and eight World Drivers’ Championship titles. The team’s 2026 driver lineup is four-time World Champion Max Verstappen and young talent Isack Hadjar.
Visa Cash App Racing Bulls has been one of the sport’s most consistent competitors since 2006 and serves as the talent incubator and launch pad for young drivers who have gone on to win races and Championships in F1 and beyond. For 2026, their drivers are Liam Lawson and rookie Arvid Lindblad.
