Ford Racing will send its Mustang GT3 to Japan’s Suzuka Circuit, September 11-13, reuniting the 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona winning trio of Dennis Olsen, Frédéric Vervisch and Christopher Mies for the Suzuka 1000km. The updated Ford Mustang GT3 will be fielded by Miedecke Motorsport by Team MPC at the penultimate round of the 2026 Intercontinental GT Challenge. The new collaboration between Australia's Miedecke Motorsport and Melbourne Performance Centre continues to expand Ford’s GT3 presence on the global endurance racing stage.

- The Ford factory-supported Pro class entry will be shared by Mies, Olsen and Vervisch — the same combination of drivers that delivered the Mustang GT3 its first victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2025.
- Vervisch won the event in 2019, with Olsen rounding out that year’s podium.
- Mies will reignite his relationship with Melbourne Performance Centre, since winning the 2015 Australian GT Championship together.
