- Chaz Mostert solidified his spot in the semi-finals with two victories during the Gold Coast 500 weekend – two 250-kilometer races – with Kai Allen finishing third in the first race.
- Mostert leads the Ford charge in the championship points standings (2nd – 3,357), followed by Matt Payne (3rd – 3,333), Cam Waters (4th – 3,302), Kai Allen (6th – 3,247) and Thomas Randle (7th – 3,207).
- The Supercars Championship moves to the historic Sandown Raceway in Melbourne from November 14-16.
