Fresh off the back of taking the coveted King of the Mountain win at the 2026 Pikes Peak Hill Climb, our Super Mustang Mach-E EV demonstrator has now taken top honours at the coveted Timed Shoot-Out as part of the celebrations at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Piloted by hill climb ace Romain Dumas, the Super Mustang Mach-E delivered a remarkable time of 41.98 seconds — a time that even our own simulations thought was impossible.

Supported by the Ford Racing and STARD team, this marks an unprecedented three wins in a row at Goodwood.

In 2024, Dumas drove our SuperVan 4.2 up the Hill in a time of 43.98 seconds. Dumas improved on that mark in 2025 with the F-150 Lightning SuperTruck in a time of 43.22 seconds before taking top honours in 2026 with Super Mustang Mach-E — beating the latest Gen4 Formula E car by the narrowest of margins.

The win is testament to the Ford Racing and STARD teams who continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with electrified race cars — driving innovation and technology learnings into our mainstream racing and road car projects in the future.
