DEARBORN, MI – Yes, FordRacing.com has already provided you with a quick look at this summer’s annual “Mustang Memories and All-Ford Show,” hosted each August the Sunday after The Motor City’s famed Woodward Dream Cruise. For many Blue Oval fans, there can be no better place for a big Mustang and Ford show than at this mega event in Dearborn hosted by the Mustang Owners Club of SouthEastern Michigan (MOCSEM) with the backdrop being none other than the iconic Glass House of Ford World Headquarters.

We’ve discovered that no matter how much you may try to see all there is to see at the yearly Mustang Memories show, there always seems be something you were unable to experience there for one reason or another. That’s why we’ve assembled this second “Quick Look” photo essay as perhaps a collection of “What You May Have Missed at Mustang Memories 25.” With so much happening at the event, it’s tough to be everywhere at once – and we could see from the start that this year’s show commemorating 50 years of MOCSEM was hopping from the get-go. We noticed the Manufacturers Midway filling up with food trucks, vendors, and the large rigs from the likes of Gateway Classic Mustang, RTR, and the Ford Merchandise Trailer – all easily visible from the access road entering the Ford WHQ’s massive back lot.

It seemed as if every Ford vehicle imaginable made an appearance at this show, including a brand-new Mustang GTD, Ford GT, plus two perfect examples of the Shelby GT500 KR, as well as a continuation Ford GT40 – and many more! There was even an old Ford fire truck on display, which you rarely see these days. Every generation of Mustang was here, not to mention an abundance of Ford Thunderbirds (celebrating their 70th anniversary), plus a reunion for Mercury Cougars. There was even the actual 10 Millionth Mustang making its way up and down the rows for enthusiasts to see that it’s not just a museum piece.

It was, however, part of one of the newest additions to the Ford world that is sometimes open to the public – called the Ford Heritage Fleet. This collection of historical Ford concepts and prototypes is conveniently located inside of the executive garage at Ford World Headquarters, meaning showgoers could walk over and check it out for free. There they found multiple prototype vehicles, concept cars, SUVs and trucks, including some early build / low serial numbered vehicles that make up part of the examples on display inside the garage.

The weather was almost perfect on this summer Sunday and the rain was far enough off in the forecast that Ford enthusiasts at the show were able to have a great time for the entire day. After recent reports that Ford World Headquarters will be moving to a nearby Ford campus with the Glass House set for demolition, Mustang Memories 25 was made even more memorable than ever before. While MOCSEM will be searching for a new location for Memories next year, let’s take a look at what you’ll want to remember from this year’s show in our photo gallery below:
