Formula Drift moves to Florida for the third round of the 2026 season. Ford Racing’s lead team, RTR, is looking to build on the strong momentum from their victory at Road Atlanta in the last round. Two Ford Mustang RTR Spec-5 FD cars will compete for top honors at Orlando Speed World, May 29 - 30.
In the second round of the season at Road Atlanta, team owner Vaughn Gittin Jr. competed alongside the team’s full-time line up of James Deane and Ben Hobson. Gittin Jr. and Deane both won their Top 32, Top 16, Great Eight, and Final Four battles and faced off against one another in the final round. Gittin Jr. won the final battle to take victory after Deane went slightly off course during his chase run. \
