Formula Drift heads to Indiana for the fifth round of the season, competing at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park for the first time. Two Ford Mustang RTR Spec-5 FD race cars will battle it out on the second of three new tracks on the 2026 schedule. IRP will play host to Formula Drift July 30 - August 1.
Last time out, when Formula Drift made its track debut at Stafford Motor Speedway, James Deane proved he has what it takes to conquer a new track, winning the event after a series of intense battles. Ben Hobson also found success in Connecticut, finishing just off the podium in fourth. This fourth place finish is Hobson’s best Formula Drift PRO finish to date, and he will be looking to improve on that this weekend by standing on the podium for the first time.
