Logan Adams became a double Dark Horse champion as Mustang Cup USA closed out the 2026 season at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, claiming both the Miles Cup and Parnelli Cup championship. In Dark Horse Legends, Craig Capaldi became the first back-to-back champion in Mustang Cup USA, winning his second Miles Cup championship and his first Parnelli Cup championship.
In Saturday’s Miles Cup race, Kale Buhl took the Dark Horse lead at the start of the race and remained in the top spot until the checkered flag flew, bringing home the victory. Logan Adams finished second in the Dark Horse class and claimed the Miles Cup championship. In Dark Horse Legends, David Luaces and Steve Luca were in a race-long battle for the victory. Luca claimed his second victory of the season, taking the lead after Luaces went wide in the closing minutes of the race. Capaldi, who had already clinched his second Miles Cup championship heading into the weekend, started up front but fell back in the early minutes of the race, ultimately finishing fifth.
In Sunday’s Parnelli Cup race, Adams led from flag-to-flag to earn both the Dark Horse class victory and the Parnelli Cup championship. In Dark Horse Legends, David Luaces started from pole position and defended against challenges from Capaldi throughout the race to bring home his first Mustang Cup USA win.
