The legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife, widely regarded as the ultimate proving ground for automotive and racing prowess, will once again host the Ford Mustang GT3 during the second round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), March 21. The four hour format will provide HRT Ford Racing, a collaborative program of Haupt Racing Team and Ford Racing, to experience 2026 evolution updates of Mustang GT3 at the “Green Hell,” before returning for May’s ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.

The second round, Saturday, March 21, will start at the traditional time of 12:00 p.m. CET / 6:00 a.m. ET. Starting positions for the team’s first race of the year will be determined in qualifying from 8:30 a.m. CET / 2:30 a.m. ET to 10:00 a.m CET / 4:00 a.m. ET.

As the spirit of America, the Ford Mustang is the world’s best selling sports car and one of the planet’s most popular race cars. With Mustang-based race cars competing in international sports car competition (GT3 and GT4), NASCAR, NHRA, Formula Drift, in Supercars, at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and in its own bespoke regional one-make series – Mustang Cup and Mustang Challenge – the platform has an unprecedented global reach. This weekend, 48 Mustang race cars are scheduled to race across all disciplines.

  • HRT and Ford Racing joined forces to debut the Mustang GT3 in the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring last season, achieving an SP9 Pro-Am victory.
