Ford Racing and customer partner Proton Competition will be in Brazil later this week (10-12 July) for round four of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo, marking the halfway point of the 2026 season.
Held at the historic Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, the São Paulo WEC race has quickly become a fan favorite. The circuit is the shortest on the FIA WEC calendar, measuring just 4.309 kilometres in its current configuration, and is run in an anti-clockwise direction featuring 15 corners: ten left-handers and five right-handers, with frequent elevation changes and short straights.
Ford Racing arrives in Brazil in strong form. The team has shown podium-contending pace throughout the 2026 campaign highlighted by both Ford Mustang GT3 entries leading the field at Spa-Francorchamps before misfortune struck.
Following a hard-fought 24 Hours of Le Mans, the squad now turns its attention to converting that speed into a result, with a podium finish squarely in its sights heading into Interlagos.
No. 88 Ford Mustang GT3 Logan Sargeant, Giammarco Levorato and Stefano Gattuso pilot the No. 88 entry, a trio that has continued to build strong chemistry since the start of the season. The car also carries good history at this venue - last year's edition saw the No. 88 crew qualify an impressive third at Interlagos, a promising sign as the team returns to the Brazilian circuit hunting for more.
No. 77 Ford Mustang GT3 Sebastian Priaulx, Ben Tuck and Eric Powell will share driving duties in the No. 77 Mustang. The trio have steadily gained experience together across the European rounds and head to São Paulo eager to translate their recent speed into a strong championship result.

DRIVER QUOTES:
Sebastian Priaulx: “This will be my first time racing in São Paulo so I’m looking forward to visiting a new country that I’ve never been to before. Hopefully we will do a bit better than previous races – we’ve got everything in place to do well and huge potential so it’s just a case of making sure we’re as well prepared as we can do. This track should suit our car well and I’m just looking forward to getting back out there in the Mustang to see what we can do.”
Ben Tuck: “I’m really looking forward to the race in São Paulo. We’ve had some bad luck a couple of difficult races this year, but that just gives me even more motivation to get a result for the team and chase that first win in WEC for the Ford Mustang LMGT3. The track is quite tight and technical in the middle sector, so we’ll have to work on getting the set up right through practice and qualifying, but I’m very hopeful for the race!”
Giammarco Levorato: “After the biggest race of the season, we’re fully focused on the next challenge in São Paulo. It’s a circuit I really enjoy and one I’m always happy to come back to. Last year we were a bit unlucky here, but our pace was very strong throughout the weekend, which gives us confidence heading into this race. We know what our Ford Mustang GT3 is capable of and we’re ready to give our all and maximize every opportunity this weekend.”
Stefano Gattuso: “I’m very excited to get back to Brazil - last year we were in second position in the middle of the race, and we forced to retire the car for a technical issue. It means that the potential in São Paulo is there for our Mustang, and so I'm very excited to hit the track again and hope for a good, clean race. To get a strong result is something that something that we all deserve and together we are pushing very hard to make this a reality. We also have amazing support in Brazil from the Mustang Owners’ Club, they’re always there to cheer us on and a strong result would be nice for them also.”
