HRT Ford Racing rolls back into familiar territory, August 28 – 30, as the team readies its Mustang GT3 program for GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup action at the Nürburgring. German-based Haupt Racing Team (HRT) calls the famous circuit its home track. HRT has reached numerous Mustang milestones since 2025, which include a class victory in the 24-hour endurance classic on the Nordschleife, as well as podium finishes in this year’s Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and ADAC GT Masters rounds.
On the same weekend, HRT will have an additional Mustang GT3 competing in the GT Summer Series at Spa-Francorchamps. Drivers David Schumacher and Antoine Berberich-Martini led the field to the checkered flag in all three races at the Nürburgring in June.

- The Ford GT Mk IV conquered the "Green Hell" with a lap time of 6:15.977, setting the record as the fastest American production car at the Nürburgring. As a track-only vehicle classified in the prototype category, it is the fastest car currently available for purchase to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and the fastest car that is exclusively powered by an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE).
- After becoming the first car from an American brand to break the seven-minute barrier at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Mustang GTD shattered its own record with a new 6:40.835 lap time using the Competition model.
- In its 2025 debut season with the Mustang GT3, HRT added its first overall victory at the Nürburgring to its trophy case, having outclassed the entire field in the Nürburgring Endurance Series.

- At the 53rd ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, Ford Racing and Haupt Racing Team teamed up to secure a prestigious SP9 Pro-Am class victory with the No. 65 Ford Mustang GT3.
