The No. 19 Stephen Cameron Racing Ford Mustang GT4 of Gregory Liefooghe and Sean Quinlan earned its first Michelin Pilot Challenge GS victory at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). Liefooghe recorded the fastest lap of the race with a time of 1:54.154. The No. 60 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4, driven by Mike Skeen and Evan Slater, finished second — the team's third GS podium finish across its entries in the last two events at VIR. The No. 64 TeamTGM Ford Mustang GT4 of Ted Giovanis and Hugh Plumb were awarded the Bronze Cup.

“I have trouble finding the words to describe what this means. We’ve been working so hard on this program, to be able to do this. The Ford Mustang GT4 has been fast in a lot of races, but we’ve had a little bit of bad luck here and there. It’s just amazing to get a Ford one-two finish. The Mustangs were truly fast. [Sean] Quinlan did amazing and having Racing to End Alzheimer’s on the car makes it extra special. This one is for Steve Cameron and Racing to End Alzheimer's.”

“It’s such a relief to get a win today. We’ve been close so many times, and so many things can go wrong. Finally we had a race where everything went to plan. [Greg] Liefooghe did an awesome job. We knew our Ford Mustang GT4 was great and Greg was fast, and when he got in he just started passing cars one by one, which looked promising. The yellow threw in a moment of doubt, but he pulled it off and took the lead just before the second yellow.”

“I did a lot of fuel saving on my stint to try to get us to that window where we could make that happen, and we lucked out to get those last yellows. Evan [Slater] had done a great job getting us up front and into a podium position to begin with, and then I just had to keep our Ford Mustang GT4 up there. Big gamble, but the car was really strong and it worked out today.”
EVAN SLATER, No. 60 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4 –
“It’s my second podium and the highest I’ve finished in an IMSA race, which is an amazing feeling. It was a ton of fun out there in the Mustang. We didn’t have the best qualifying, starting the race eighth, but I made my way up to first on the track. There were a lot of two-wide moments and a lot of tough battles. I’m just so thankful to be here and to Mike [Skeen], Ray Mason and to all the KohR Motorsports guys for making this possible.”
