Those five words from Will Brown said everything about an utterly dominant weekend for the Ford Mustangs at the final leg of the Sprint Cup in the Repco Supercars Championship.
Blue Oval racers locked out all three pole positions, and all three victory podiums, as Broc Feeney clinched the Sprint Cup at Queensland Raceway – and a golden ticket to The Finals at the end of the year.
It was Feeney’s second year as the Sprint Cup winner but came at the expense of fellow Ford racer Matt Payne, who had led until the final race of the Sprint season.
“You’ve got to be in it to win it,” Feeney said.
Mustang drivers also filled seven of the crucial Top 10 positions heading for the second leg of this year’s title fight, the Endurance Cup to be raced at The Bend in South Australia and the classic Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama in October.
The 2026 Supercars Championship shifts focus for the first leg of the Endurance Cup, the two-driver Airtouch 500, at The Bend in South Australia from September 11-13.

“The results sheet tells one story, but beyond there were some big steps on Saturday and qualifying on Sunday went well. Race speed on Sunday was very very good but we weren’t able to maximise, and two penalties kept us back to 17th.
“We haven’t done the Enduro Cup but we’re heading into the two-driver phase after a test at The Bend and another this week at Queensland Raceway. We’re ramping up at the right time of the year to bring Jack Perkins in as a well-credentialed co-driver alongside Jackson Walls. We felt having a very seasoned co-driver was a very important aspect of our first season and Jack fits the bill.”
