- Ryan Blaney charges back through the field for fourth place finish, best of Ford Mustangs.

NASCAR Xfinity Series (September 6 – WWTR)
- The Xfinity Series closed out its regular season with Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed and Harrison Burton all transferring into the playoffs.

IMSA Mustang Challenge (September 5 - 7 – Circuit of The Americas)
- Robert Noaker swept the weekend, scoring his tenth win of the season and clinching his second Dark Horse Championship
- In the Dark Horse Legends class, Alfonso Diaz was victorious in race one and Texas native Zachry Lee won race two, keeping the fight for the Dark Horse Legends championship alive. 

FIA World Endurance Championship (September 5-7 — Circuit of The Americas)
- The No. 77 Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3 led Ford with a sixth place finish.

ADAC GT Masters (September 6 - 7 – Salzburgring)
- The No. 1 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 of Finn Wiebelhaus and Salman Owega placed a Ford best third.

SRO GT World Challenge America (September 6 - 7 – Barber Motorsports Park) – FORD VICTORIES
- Dollahite Racing, with drivers Scott Dollahite and Eric Powell, recorded its sixth GT World Challenge America Am class victory of the season at Barber Motorsports Park (Ala.).
- The team has completed its second multi-win weekend of the season, which includes Sebring International Raceway.
- The class-leading performance marked the 10th global victory of Mustang GT3 since its 2024 debut season.
- Dollahite Racing has taken hold of the Am class championship (+3.5) with one event remaining – the Indianapolis 8 Hour, scheduled for October 19th. 

SRO GT4 Australia (September 5 - 7 – The Bend) – FORD VICTORY
- Mustang GT4 collected eight podiums, including a Silver-Am class victory, across all three competing classes and in the penultimate rounds of the season.
- Multispares Racing, represented by Ryan Hansford and Aaron Cameron, scored a Silver-Am class victory to kick-off a weekend where it earned two podiums.
- Miedecke Motorsports (Silver Cup), Gomersall Racing (Silver Cup) and 99motorsport (Am) each collected two podiums.
- Miedecke Motorsport ranks second in the overall Team Championship (-21), as well as both George Miedecke and Rylan Gray in the Silver Cup Drivers’ Championship (-7).
- Gomersall Motorsport’s Jason Gomersall and Aaron Seton lead the Silver-Am Drivers’ Championship (+23) over fellow Mustang GT4 competitors Dean Campbell and Cameron Crick of  DA Campbell Transport.
- The season finale is scheduled for October 31 - November 2 at Hampton Downs in New Zealand.

 

NASCAR Cup Series (September 7 - WWTR)
- Ryan Blaney charges back through field for fourth place finish, best of Ford Mustangs.
- Joey Logano takes top five finish, one spot behind Penske teammate.
- Chris Buescher adds a ninth place result to top 10 Ford programs.
- Remaining championship playoff contenders Austin Cindric finishes 19th and Josh Berry 36th.
- Next week’s stop at Bristol Motor Speedway is the next elimination round where four drivers will be dropped from championship contention. 

NASCAR Xfinity Series (September 6 – WWTR)
- The Xfinity Series closed out its regular season with Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed and Harrison Burton all transferring into the playoffs.
- Mayer transferred into the playoffs by virtue of a race win while Creed and Burton made it by virtue of finishing ahead of the cutline.
- The Xfinity Series joins the Cup and Truck Series at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 12 for the first round of their playoff season (7:30 p.m., CW, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (Did Not Race)
- The series returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Bristol Motor Speedway (8 p.m., FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

IMSA Mustang Challenge (September 5 - 7 – Circuit of The Americas)
- Ford Performance Junior Team driver Robert Noaker clinched his second Dark Horse championship, sweeping the weekend to earn his tenth victory of the season.
- Britt Casey, driving the No. 91 for Robert Noaker Racing, finished third in race one in his Mustang Challenge debut.
- In race one, Alfonso Diaz scored a victory in the Dark Horse Legends class after a race-long battle with second-place finisher and Texas-native Zachry Lee.
- Zachry Lee won race two in the Dark Horse Legends class after finishing in second on Saturday.
- The final Mustang Challenge round is scheduled for October 3-4 on the ROVAL at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Event coverage will be broadcasted on the official Ford Racing YouTube channel, as well as IMSA.tv. 

FIA World Endurance Championship (September 5 - 7  – Circuit of The Americas)
- The No. 77 Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3, driven by Ben Barker, Ben Tuck and Bernardo Sousa, led Ford to a sixth place finish.
- The No. 77 led the most laps in its category (72); Proton led a combined 83 of 115 laps.
- Sousa was presented the Goodyear Wingfoot Award, which recognizes the LMGT3 class driver that achieves the fastest stint average for each round.
- The No. 88, driven by Dennis Olsen, Giammarco Levorato and  Stefano Gattuso, earned the first series pole by Mustang GT3; both Proton cars represented the front row of the LMGT3 class starting grid.
- The penultimate round of the 2025 FIA WEC season is the 6 Hours of Fuji (Japan), scheduled for September 28.

ADAC GT Masters (September 6 - 7 – Salzburgring)
- Haupt Racing Team earned its sixth ADAC GT Masters podium of the season on Sunday, as the No. 1 Ford Mustang GT3 of Finn Wiebelhaus and Salman Owega placed third at Salzburgring.
- The No. 1 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 has collected four podiums this season, including one victory.
- Wiebelhaus and Owega retained the overall championship lead (+12) heading into the final two races of the season.
- Haupt Racing Team earned its fourth ADAC GT Masters pole position of the season on Saturday, as the No. 2 Ford Mustang GT3 of Jonathan Cecotto and Dennis Fetzer was awarded its first at Salzburgring.
- Haupt Racing Team has secured pole position with each of its three Mustang GT3 cars in 2025, and the team has collected three in the last two events.
- The penultimate round is scheduled for September 12-14 at Red Bull Ring.
