Repco Supercars Championship (February 20 - 22 – Sydney 500) – FORD VICTORIES
Broc Feeney collected two wins in his official Mustang debut, which also marked a successful event for the new Homologation Team, Triple Eight Race Engineering.
Ford was represented in eight of the nine available podium sports throughout the weekend, which also included Aaron Cameron, James Golding, Brodie Kostecki, Matt Payne and Cam Waters.
Ford is off to an early lead in the points standings, with Feeney, Payne and Waters holding the top three positions.
The next stop on the schedule is the Melbourne SuperSprint, March 5 – 8.
NASCAR Cup Series (February 15 – Daytona)
Three Ford drivers finished in the top 10, led by Zane Smith in seventh place.
Joey Logano led a Ford-best 26 laps before getting spun with 22 laps remaining.
Austin Cindric won Stage 1, but was collected in a multi-car accident in the closing laps.
Smith is one of three drivers to finish in the top 10 of the first two races.
The NASCAR Cup Series will head to its first road course of the season as Circuit of The Americas will play host on Sunday, March 1 (3:30 p.m. ET, Fox, PRN, SiriusXM).
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (February 21 – Atlanta)
Ben Rhodes was the highest-finishing Ford in fourth.
Chandler Smith and Jake Garcia, who won the pole, were sixth and seventh, respectively.
Rhodes led a race-high 70 laps, but ran out of fuel two laps from the end of Stage 2 and lost a lap.
The race ended on time after 125-of-135 laps due to the start being delayed by rain
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will compete in its first street race as the city of St. Petersburg, FL, plays host on Saturday, Feb. 28 (12 p.m., Fox, NRN, SiriusXM).
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (February 21 – Atlanta)
Nick Sanchez drove to a Ford-best third-place finish Saturday at EchoPark Speedway.
Sanchez, who started 28th and drove to eighth in Stage 1, was in contention at the end, but didn’t get the needed help from behind to push him to victory.
Luke Fenhaus finished 20th.
