Ryan Blaney was the leading Ford Mustang Dark Horse at COTA running at or near the front of the field for much of the day. However, handling issues in the final stage of the race dropped him to 8th place at the checkered flag.

Ford Racing swept the top four spots in St. Pete with Layne Riggs scoring his first career street race victory. Ty Makeski finished second, Ben Rhodes third and Chandler Smith finished in fourth place.
Smith leads the point standings by 34 points over Rhodes.
The Craftsman Truck Series will next race on March 20 at Darlington Raceway (6:30 p.m., FS1, MRN, SiriusXM).

Nick Sanchez finished 28th at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas after running as high as second before the final restart.
