SPEEDWAY, Ind. – TechSport Racing’s Frankie Muniz and Tyler Stone capped off the Pirelli GT4 America Am Class Championship by clinching the title behind the wheel of the No. 30 TechSport Racing Ford Mustang GT4 at the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the "Racing Capital of the World."

Entering the season finale at the historic Brickyard leading the Am class standings, Muniz and Stone secured two class podiums and the championship crown. Title honors highlight a strong season by TechSport Racing, which opened the year with a second-place finish in the Mustang GT4's series debut at Sonoma Raceway. TechSport built momentum throughout the season with two class victories at Road America followed by a pivotal win at Barber Motorsports Park that vaulted the team into the championship lead heading into Indianapolis.

For Muniz, the championship marks a major milestone in his racing career. Muniz earned his first professional motorsports victory during the season — and his first win with Ford Racing — in the Mustang GT4. An official Ford Racing ambassador, Muniz has steadily pursued his motorsports aspirations across Ford's development ladder. After making his mark in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, he advanced into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series while simultaneously expanding his sports car racing footprint behind the wheel of the Dark Horse R in the IMSA-sanctioned Mustang Challenge Series, which included a trip to the Le Mans Invitational event in 2025.

The championship at Indianapolis adds another title to the credentials of the current-generation Ford Mustang GT4. Since its global competition debut in 2024, the Mustang GT4 platform has claimed multiple championships on two continents, which includes the Silver-Am Class Championship captured in the SRO-sanctioned Monochrome GT4 Australia series in 2025.

Muniz is scheduled to take part in the first annual Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic at Daytona International Speedway, November 11. The Proud to Honor Veterans Day Classic will bring together the adrenaline of motorsports — featuring a race honoring all six military branches and piloted by Ford Racing drivers — paired with an exclusive, world-class concert headlined by Zac Brown Band and other notable acts.

QUOTES:

FRANKIE MUNIZ, No. 30 TechSport Racing Ford Mustang GT4 – “My first time ever in a GT4 car was the first practice session at Sonoma. I thank Ford Racing for pointing me in this direction. Halfway through the year, we really figured everything out — won a few races and put ourselves in the position to win the championship. We had a great race yesterday, finishing second and having the points lead. We had a bad break for today, starting 10th in class. I didn’t know what was going to happen, but now we are the champs. This was a work in progress for 20 years… it took me 20 years to experience the feeling of winning and being champions. Thank you to Tyler, TechSport and Ford Racing.”

TYLER STONE, No. 30 TechSport Racing Ford Mustang GT4 – “We had no idea. The way we started this season with a podium at Sonoma, we couldn’t believe it. We left there feeling like we could actually do this. We had some struggles during the early part of the season but once we got to Road Atlanta, we hit our stride. Ford Racing and TechSport Racing put together an incredible Mustang GT4 this season, and we just had to keep our heads up and keep fighting. I’m at a loss for words.”
