Ford Racing arrives at the 30th anniversary Casey Folks Vegas to Reno with a lineup that stretches from the highest level of international rally raid to production-based stock racing. For the first time in the event’s history, competitors will tackle the course in reverse, beginning outside Reno and racing south toward Las Vegas through heat, rocks, silt, elevation changes and hundreds of miles of open desert.
Across the Ford Racing entries, the vehicles may be very different, but the objective is shared: use one of America’s defining desert races to push Raptor capability in competition.
No. RR228 Ford Raptor T1+
Mitch Guthrie Jr. and Kellon Walch
The Ford Raptor T1+ has raced across Saudi Arabia and the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship. Now, it gets its first taste of American competition. Mitch Guthrie Jr. and Nevada-native navigator Kellon Walch will bring Ford Racing’s purpose-built rally-raid machine to Vegas to Reno for its North American competition debut, pairing two American racers with the ultimate expression of Ford’s global Raptor racing program. Guthrie and Walch come home after a breakthrough 2026 Dakar Rally where they earned a stage victory and multiple stage podiums as Ford Racing finished the event with six stage wins and second and third overall. Vegas to Reno trades Saudi dunes for Nevada desert, but the formula remains familiar: speed, navigation, durability and hundreds of miles where capability and skill means everything.
No. 888 3.5L Ford F-150 Raptor
Brad Lovell, Jason Hutter, Paul Blangsted and Adam Lovell
Few trucks in the field arrive with a résumé like the No. 888 F-150 Raptor. Brad and Adam Lovell have helped turn the production-based truck into one of Ford Racing’s consistent examples of stock-class capability, including a 2025 Baja 1000 victory. The momentum has continued in 2026: the Lovells won the Desert Challenge Limited race at King of the Hammers before taking the Stock Production Truck Full victory at The Mint 400 in the same 3.5-liter F-150 Raptor. At Vegas to Reno, Brad is joined by son and navigator Adam Lovell before trading the seats to Jason Hutter and Paul Blangsted for another long-distance test of a truck that keeps returning to the desert and collecting more miles along the way.
No. 7366 Ford Ranger Raptor
Vaughn Gittin Jr., Loren Healy, Jeremy Dickenson and Eric Davis
The Ranger Raptor brings a different kind of production-based Raptor to the Stock Production Truck Mini/Mid field, backed by a team with deep experience in some of the most demanding forms of American off-road racing. Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy have spent years pushing Ford off-road vehicles through Ultra4 competition, and the pair finished second together in the Bronco Raptor 4600 at the 2026 King of the Hammers. Gittin also enters Vegas to Reno as a 2026 Mint 400 class winner, having taken the Raptor 4400 to victory alongside Jeremy Dickenson. Joined here by co-drivers Dickenson and Eric Davis, the team now turns that experience toward the nimble 3.0-liter EcoBoost-powered Ranger Raptor and a race where maintaining pace for more than 500 miles will matter as much as outright speed.
No. 850 Ford F-150 Raptor R
John Williams III and Nate Williams
Brothers John Williams III and Nate Williams arrive in Nevada with the hardware to prove that the F-150 Raptor R is ready for the job. The No. 850 already has a Stock Production Truck Full victory in the 2026 Silver State 300, following a second-place class finish at the Parker 400 earlier in the season. Vegas to Reno raises the stakes considerably, where the team will push the supercharged V8-powered Raptor R across more than 500 miles of constantly changing terrain. For Ford Racing, the entry adds another production Raptor configuration to the field and another opportunity to see how a customer-facing high-performance off-road truck responds when its durability is tested over race distance.
No. 4635 Bronco Raptor 4600
Bailey Campbell, Bryan Crofts and Ryan Millen
Bailey Campbell returns to the Nevada desert with the Bronco Raptor 4600, Ford Racing’s stock-class race vehicle built around the same Ultra4 inspiration that helped shape the production Bronco Raptor. Campbell and Bryan Crofts already delivered the truck its first victory at the 2026 Mint 400, winning the Rock 600 class in just the vehicle’s second race. At Vegas to Reno, Campbell and Crofts are joined by Ryan Millen as the No. 4635 trades the rocks and repeated laps of The Mint for one sustained run across Nevada. The 4600 program exists to keep competition closely connected to production architecture, making 500-plus racing miles another valuable test of the durability, suspension and driveline lessons at the center of the Raptor program.
Five Raptors, One Nevada Desert
From the Dakar-developed Raptor T1+ to the F-150 Raptor, Ranger Raptor, F-150 Raptor R and Bronco Raptor 4600, Ford Racing’s Vegas to Reno lineup represents a broad cross-section of the Raptor racing program in one place.
Some are here to prove production-based capability. Others are built to explore the outer edge of what Ford Racing can do in the desert. All of them will face the same Nevada terrain and the same basic requirement that has defined desert racing for generations: make it to the other end.
For Ford Racing, those miles are where the learning happens.
