Ford Racing Secures the Repco Supercars Manufacturer's Championship

Ford battled through the Repco Supercars season to secure the Manufacturer’s Championship, clinching the title with three victories in Perth.

​The first of three race wins at Wanneroo Raceway secured  the coveted Manufacturer’s Championship, putting the title beyond the reach of the Blue Oval’s rivals after an 80 percent strike rate through 25 individual races.

The Manufacturer's Championship crown is awarded for race wins and five drivers, from four different teams, contributed to the success. Brodie Kostecki leads Ford’s win tally with six, followed by Matt Payne and Broc Feeney with five, and then Kai Allen and Cam Waters with two apiece.

The 2026 title is the first for Ford since 2020 and the earliest clinch in the series since 2009.

Payne scored two of the weekend's wins, with Feeney reaching the top step of the podium on Saturday. 

Ford pilots represent the top five places in the Drivers’ standings, with Payne ahead of Feeney, followed by Waters, Kostecki and Allen. 

“We’re in a great position. I couldn’t have asked to be in a better spot. But the pressure is still on,” said Payne in Perth.

The 2026 Supercars Championship season returns to the east coast of Australia for the final round of the Sprint Cup at the Ipswich Super 440 in Brisbane from August 21-23.

• “Our day-on-day improvement in performance was good in Perth, particularly since Jackson Walls hadn’t raced there before. Qualifying 16th on Saturday was a really good uplift, particularly on the soft tire.”.

• “We didn't maximize the super-soft tire on Saturday and got involved in a few small incidents that compounded into qualifying on Sunday. But the race pace was great, until we had a fuel hook-up issue during the first pitstop that put us back to 23rd.”

• “I’m not going to make bold predictions, but at the start of the year we flagged Queensland Raceway as one of the key events for Jackson’s rookie season. We’re expecting it should be one of our strongest races of the year."

• “We had reasonable pace at times, but struggled to put it together over the weekend. We didn’t execute well enough on Saturday, but had a long think overnight, changed a few things, and got much more competitive.”

• “Sunday was a good result for Aaron Cameron in seventh, but we had a wheel gun failure with Jimmy Golding’s car and that cost us two or three places.”

• “Still, to have both cars back in the Top 10 Shootout on Sunday was good. We’ve done it a few times now and it shows we have pace, so we just need to get better on execution.”

• “A tough weekend for the team in Perth. A grid penalty for impeding before a clash with Kai Allen put Brodie Kostecki out of contention on Saturday.”
