NORTHVILLE, Mich. – Yes, we know it’s the dead of winter. But we also know that there’s nothing like looking at some hot Mustangs to warm an enthusiast’s heart. So, to help you cope going through car show withdrawals until spring comes along, we thought now would be a good time to share a collection of Mustang photos from a local “Cars & Coffee” event that one of our correspondents, Ford-retiree-turned-roving-photographer Bill Cook, had attended last summer.
Cook lives only a few miles from the Detroit suburb of Northville, Michigan, which hosts some popular cruise-in venues in this historic little city’s downtown area. As we’ve reported before, one of them is located at the ZF North America complex in nearby Northville Township, and it is known as the “E.C.C. Cars and Coffee.” ECC stands for Exotic Car Connections, the LLC that organizes the bigger monthly events. Cook had headed over to the two separate EEC Cars & Coffee events in the summer of 2025 – one back on June 28th and the other on the 9th of August.
As usual, Bill brought along his trusty camera and sent us hundreds of photos that he took of the collectible and classic Fords he found at both events. We sorted through them all to pick out our favorite Mustangs to share with you in the gallery below. So, grab a hot chocolate and scroll through our Mustang photo selections so that you can jump-start your excitement for the 2026 car show season that’s just around the corner. Happy New Year!
