Formula Drift travels to Connecticut for the fourth round of the season, competing on the first of three new tracks on the 2026 schedule. Two Ford Mustang RTR Spec-5 FD cars will fight for the win as Formula Drift makes its track debut at Stafford Motor Speedway, June 18 - 20. With no previous notes on the track, the pair will push hard to learn and prepare their Mustangs to advance into the finals on Saturday.
Last time out at Orlando Speed World, James Deane finished second after a series of hard-fought tandem battles. Following this second place finish, Deane currently sits second in the championship, only eight points back from first place. Ben Hobson put on an impressive lead run and a solid chase run in his Top 32 battle but was unable to advance to the Top 16.
