Logan Adams experienced a virtually flawless weekend during the fourth event of the 2026 Mustang Cup USA season, wheeling his No. 86 Capaldi Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R to multiple poles and victories at Virginia International Raceway.
In Saturday’s Miles Cup race, Adams started from pole position in the Dark Horse class while Steve Luca led the Dark Horse Legends class into the green flag. Craig Capaldi completed a first-lap pass for the Dark Horse Legends lead before an incident deployed extended safety car conditions. . The race resumed with five minutes remaining, when Adams and Capaldi both managed the pace to victories in their respective classes.
Adams fended off challenges from Kale Buhl throughout Sunday’s Parnelli Cup race to earn the Dark Horse win. In Dark Horse Legends, Capaldi led from flag-to-flag to claim the victory.
Mustang Cup USA will be back on track August 14-16 at Road America.
